Syntic Care Privacy Policy
1. Privacy at Syntic Care
Syntic Care is designed to help you understand, maintain, organize, and manage your devices.
A device-care product may need to inspect information on a device in order to identify storage usage, files that may be reviewed, applications, system conditions, performance information, privacy-related settings, and other information relevant to the feature you choose to use. That does not mean all information inspected by Syntic Care is collected by Syntic.
We distinguish between:
- information processed locally on your device;
- information transmitted to Syntic to provide an online service;
- information associated with your Syntic account;
- diagnostic, security, and service information; and
- information you intentionally provide to us.
This Privacy Policy explains those distinctions, the purposes for which information may be processed, the circumstances in which information may be shared, the choices available to you, and the privacy rights that may apply to you.
Our goal is data minimization: a feature should not require Syntic to receive information merely because the software can access or analyze that information locally.
2. Who We Are
Syntic Care is a product of Syntic AI, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Syntic," "we," "us," or "our").
For purposes of applicable data-protection law, Syntic AI, Inc. is the controller of personal information where it determines the purposes and means of processing, unless otherwise stated.
Syntic Care forms part of the broader Syntic product ecosystem. A Syntic account may be used across multiple Syntic products, but the availability of products, features, subscriptions, entitlements, and data processing may differ between products.
3. Scope of This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to Syntic Care software, websites, online services, account-related interactions, support interactions, and related services that link to or expressly incorporate this Policy (collectively, the "Care Services").
The Care Services may include:
- Syntic Care for macOS;
- Syntic Care for Windows;
- future Syntic Care applications for mobile devices;
- future Syntic Care applications or services for other supported devices;
care.syntic.aiand related Syntic Care web properties;- Syntic account functionality used to access Syntic Care;
- entitlement, subscription, update, support, security, and related online services used by Syntic Care.
Functionality may vary by operating system, device type, country, product version, account status, and feature.
This Policy does not automatically govern a third-party product or service merely because Syntic Care can open, connect to, or interoperate with it. A third party's own privacy terms may apply when you interact directly with that third party.
Other Syntic products may have additional privacy notices or product-specific disclosures. Where a product-specific notice conflicts with this Policy for a particular processing activity, the more specific notice governs that activity.
4. Key Privacy Principle: Local Processing Is Not the Same as Collection
Syntic Care may need to inspect or process information stored on your device to provide a feature you request.
For example, depending on the platform and features available, Syntic Care may locally examine:
- file names, paths, extensions, types, sizes, dates, hashes, and other file metadata;
- folders and storage locations;
- storage usage and disk structure;
- temporary, cache, log, and other potentially removable files;
- downloaded files;
- duplicate or similar files;
- installed applications and application metadata;
- application support files and related data;
- startup or login items;
- operating-system information;
- hardware and storage information;
- system configuration;
- performance-related information;
- browser-related data where a feature requires it;
- development-tool files and caches;
- locally installed AI models, caches, or related files;
- other device information necessary to provide a feature you deliberately use.
Information being processed locally by Syntic Care does not, by itself, mean that Syntic receives, stores, or uploads that information.
Where a feature can operate locally, Syntic may design it so that the underlying content remains on your device. Where a feature requires an online service, account function, support interaction, security function, synchronization feature, or other network communication, relevant information may be transmitted as described in this Policy and any feature-specific notice.
5. Information We May Collect
The categories below describe information Syntic may receive in connection with the Care Services. Not every category is collected from every user or device.
5.1 Account and Identity Information
When you create or use a Syntic account, we may process information such as:
- email address;
- account identifier;
- authentication and session information;
- email-verification status;
- account status;
- organization or workspace information, where applicable;
- product entitlements;
- subscription status;
- account security events;
- account creation and update timestamps;
- information needed to prevent duplicate or abusive promotional grants.
Authentication credentials should be handled through the authentication systems used by Syntic. We do not need to know your plaintext password in order to authenticate you.
5.2 Device and Application Information
When required to provide, secure, support, update, or troubleshoot the Care Services, we may receive limited information about the device and application, such as:
- operating system and version;
- Syntic Care application version and build;
- device class or platform;
- processor architecture;
- language or locale;
- installation or application identifiers;
- compatibility information;
- update state;
- entitlement-device records where required for product access;
- limited technical characteristics necessary to diagnose compatibility or reliability issues.
We seek to avoid collecting unnecessary persistent device identifiers. Where a device identifier is required for a legitimate product or security function, it should be proportionate to that purpose.
5.3 Service and Network Information
When your device communicates with our services, our systems or service providers may process information ordinarily associated with network communications, including:
- IP address;
- request time;
- requested service or endpoint;
- response status;
- browser or application user-agent information;
- approximate region derived from an IP address where needed;
- security and anti-abuse signals;
- authentication and authorization events;
- failed request information.
We may use this information to operate services, maintain reliability, detect abuse, investigate security incidents, enforce service limits, and comply with law.
5.4 Product Usage Information
Where enabled and lawfully collected, we may receive information about how the Care Services are used, such as:
- features opened or used;
- high-level interaction events;
- application startup or shutdown events;
- feature completion or failure states;
- performance measurements;
- aggregate usage statistics.
We should not intentionally use product analytics as a mechanism to collect the contents of personal files.
Where consent is legally required for analytics or similar technologies, we will seek consent before using them.
5.5 Crash and Diagnostic Information
If diagnostic or crash reporting is enabled or otherwise lawfully provided, diagnostic information may include:
- application version;
- operating-system information;
- crash type;
- stack traces;
- error codes;
- performance information;
- technical logs;
- sequence of relevant application events;
- limited contextual information necessary to reproduce or diagnose a problem.
Diagnostic systems should be designed to minimize personal information. File contents, credentials, authentication tokens, and other sensitive information should not intentionally be included in diagnostic reports.
Where technically feasible, Syntic may use filtering, redaction, masking, allow-listing, or similar techniques before diagnostic information is transmitted or retained.
5.6 Support and Communications
If you contact us, we may receive:
- your name and contact details;
- account information;
- the contents of your message;
- files, screenshots, logs, or diagnostics you intentionally provide;
- information about the issue you are experiencing;
- correspondence and support history.
If we ask you to provide a diagnostic report, we may explain what it contains or provide controls appropriate to the feature before transmission.
Do not send passwords, recovery codes, private keys, payment-card numbers, or other secrets to Syntic support unless a secure process specifically requests information that is necessary.
5.7 Transaction and Subscription Information
If paid Syntic Care services become available, Syntic and its payment providers may process information necessary to manage purchases and subscriptions, such as:
- customer or billing account identifier;
- product or plan purchased;
- subscription status;
- transaction status;
- currency;
- billing country or region;
- invoice and payment-related metadata;
- refund, dispute, and fraud-prevention information.
Payment-card details may be collected directly by a payment processor rather than by Syntic. Syntic may receive transaction status and identifiers needed to provide the purchased service, reconcile payments, provide support, and prevent fraud.
5.8 Website Information
When you use Syntic Care websites, we may process:
- IP address;
- browser and device type;
- pages visited;
- referring and destination pages;
- date and time;
- cookie or similar technology identifiers, where used;
- consent choices;
- website security and performance information.
For additional details regarding cookies or similar technologies, we may provide a separate Cookie Policy or consent interface where required.
5.9 Information From Other Sources
We may receive information from service providers, payment providers, authentication providers, anti-fraud providers, distribution platforms, or other parties where necessary to operate the Care Services.
We may also receive information when you use a platform-operated store, identity system, or distribution mechanism. The platform provider's own privacy policy may separately apply.
6. Device Scanning, Files, and System Analysis
Syntic Care is a device-care product. Some features therefore require local access to information that other categories of software may never need to inspect.
Depending on the platform and feature, Syntic Care may analyze files, directories, applications, system metadata, storage usage, caches, temporary files, logs, downloads, application support data, and other device information.
The purpose of such analysis may include:
- identifying items for your review;
- calculating storage usage;
- finding large or old files;
- identifying duplicate or similar items;
- identifying temporary or unnecessary data;
- displaying application-related information;
- identifying startup or login items;
- explaining system conditions;
- helping diagnose performance or configuration issues;
- providing recommendations;
- carrying out an action that you explicitly request and that the product is authorized to perform.
Detection does not necessarily mean deletion, removal, quarantine, upload, or modification.
Where Syntic Care presents a finding for review, that finding may remain informational unless and until a supported action is separately requested and authorized.
7. File Contents
Syntic Care may need to read portions or characteristics of a file locally where necessary to perform a feature---for example, to calculate a hash, determine whether files are duplicates, determine a file type, analyze similarity, or otherwise provide the requested functionality.
Local access to file contents is distinct from transmitting file contents to Syntic.
Unless a feature clearly requires an online transfer, you intentionally submit a file, or a separate disclosure tells you otherwise, Syntic Care should not treat the contents of files discovered during ordinary local device scanning as information that must be uploaded to Syntic.
If a future feature requires transmitting file content or excerpts---for example, an explicitly invoked cloud or AI feature---we may provide additional contextual notice where appropriate.
8. AI and Intelligent Features
Syntic Care may include intelligent or AI-assisted features now or in the future.
An AI-related label does not, by itself, mean that the contents of your device are uploaded to an AI model.
Different intelligent features may operate differently:
- some may operate entirely on-device;
- some may use deterministic local rules rather than an AI model;
- some may use Syntic-hosted services;
- some future features may require sending user-selected or feature-specific information to an online model or service.
Where an AI feature requires transmitting personal information, file information, device information, or user-provided content to an online service, Syntic should provide information appropriate to the feature and process only what is reasonably necessary for that function.
Syntic should not use the contents of files discovered through ordinary local Care scanning to train general-purpose AI models merely because those files were discovered by a scan.
Any materially different use of user content for model training or improvement should be governed by an applicable disclosure and legal basis.
9. One Syntic Account Across Products
Syntic Care may use the same Syntic identity system used by other Syntic products.
This means that your account identity may be recognized across Syntic products while product access and entitlements remain product-specific.
For example, an account may have separate rights for Syntic AI and Syntic Care. The existence of a paid entitlement for one product does not necessarily mean that the account has a paid entitlement for another product.
We may process account and entitlement information to:
- authenticate you;
- determine which Care features are available to your account;
- issue or verify product entitlements;
- maintain account security;
- restore access;
- apply eligible product benefits;
- prevent duplicate promotional benefits;
- provide customer support.
10. Anonymous or Pre-Account Product Experiences
Syntic Care may provide limited functionality before an account is created or signed in.
Where an anonymous or pre-account experience is offered, Syntic may store limited state locally on the device to determine whether that experience has already been completed or used.
We seek to avoid hardware fingerprinting solely to enforce a one-time introductory experience.
If you later create or sign in to a Syntic account, eligible locally stored activity or results may be associated with your signed-in Care experience where the product is designed to preserve that continuity.
11. Permissions and Operating-System Access
Some Care features may require permissions provided by your operating system or device.
Examples may include access to selected files, folders, storage locations, application information, system settings, or other protected resources.
The availability and scope of permissions vary by platform.
Granting an operating-system permission allows the application to perform the functions permitted by that operating system. It does not necessarily mean that all information accessible under that permission is transmitted to Syntic.
Where practical, we seek to request permissions in context and only when needed for a feature.
You may be able to review or revoke permissions using your device's system settings, although doing so may prevent some Care features from functioning.
12. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information for purposes including:
- providing and operating the Care Services;
- authenticating users;
- managing Syntic accounts;
- providing requested features;
- determining product entitlements;
- processing subscriptions and transactions;
- maintaining service continuity;
- delivering software and security updates;
- diagnosing failures and improving reliability;
- responding to support requests;
- protecting users, Syntic, and our services;
- detecting fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security threats;
- enforcing applicable terms;
- measuring and improving the Care Services;
- communicating administrative, security, transactional, or product information;
- sending marketing communications where permitted and, where required, with consent;
- complying with legal obligations;
- establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims;
- conducting corporate transactions subject to appropriate safeguards.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, security, product improvement, research, and other legitimate business purposes where that information is not reasonably linkable to an identifiable individual.
13. Legal Bases for Processing in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Similar Jurisdictions
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, Syntic may rely on one or more of the following:
13.1 Performance of a Contract
We may process information where necessary to provide a service you requested, authenticate your account, provide product access, manage subscriptions, provide support, or otherwise perform our agreement with you.
13.2 Legitimate Interests
We may process information where necessary for legitimate interests such as:
- maintaining and improving service reliability;
- securing our systems and users;
- preventing fraud and abuse;
- understanding service performance;
- managing our business;
- protecting legal rights;
- providing appropriate product communications.
Where required, we consider those interests against the rights and interests of affected individuals.
13.3 Consent
We may rely on consent where required, including for certain:
- marketing communications;
- analytics technologies;
- cookies or similar technologies;
- optional data collection;
- other processing for which applicable law requires consent.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent as permitted by law. Withdrawal does not make prior lawful processing unlawful.
13.4 Legal Obligation
We may process information when necessary to comply with applicable law, regulatory requirements, lawful process, tax or accounting requirements, or other legal obligations.
13.5 Protection of Rights and Other Lawful Bases
Where applicable, we may process information to protect vital interests or on another legal basis recognized by law.
14. How We Share Personal Information
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances.
14.1 Service Providers and Processors
We may use companies that help us operate the Care Services, including providers of:
- cloud infrastructure;
- authentication;
- databases;
- application hosting;
- software distribution and updates;
- crash reporting and diagnostics;
- email delivery;
- customer support;
- security and fraud prevention;
- analytics, where used;
- payment processing;
- other operational services.
These providers may process information for us subject to contractual, technical, and legal restrictions appropriate to their role.
14.2 Payment Providers
Payment providers may receive information necessary to process purchases, prevent fraud, issue refunds, manage disputes, and satisfy financial or regulatory obligations.
Their own privacy notices may apply to information they process as independent controllers.
14.3 Legal, Safety, and Security Reasons
We may preserve, use, or disclose information where we reasonably believe it is necessary to:
- comply with law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request;
- protect the rights, property, or safety of users, Syntic, or others;
- investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
- enforce applicable agreements;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We may challenge or narrow requests where appropriate and legally permitted.
14.4 Corporate Transactions
If Syntic is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, sale of assets, public offering, or similar transaction, information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.
14.5 At Your Direction
We may share information when you direct us to do so, connect a third-party service, or otherwise authorize the disclosure.
15. Sale, Advertising, and Data Brokerage
Syntic does not intend Syntic Care to operate as a data-brokerage product.
We do not sell personal information merely because you use Syntic Care.
We do not disclose the contents of files discovered during ordinary local device scans to third parties for their own targeted advertising merely because those files were discovered by Syntic Care.
If our practices ever fall within a statutory definition of "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising that gives you an opt-out right, we will provide the disclosures and controls required by applicable law.
16. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Syntic Care websites may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies for purposes such as:
- essential website operation;
- authentication;
- security;
- remembering preferences;
- measuring performance;
- analytics;
- understanding website usage;
- marketing, where permitted.
Where required by law, non-essential technologies will be subject to consent or other legally required controls.
A separate Cookie Policy or cookie-management interface may provide additional information.
The desktop or mobile Care application may use local application storage for purposes that are technically different from browser cookies, including preferences, local state, security information, entitlement state, and feature state.
17. Software Updates
Syntic Care may communicate with update infrastructure to determine whether a newer application version is available and to securely deliver updates.
Update requests may necessarily reveal limited network and application information such as IP address, current application version, operating-system or platform information, update channel, and information needed to validate or deliver the update.
Software-update mechanisms should use integrity and authenticity protections appropriate to the platform.
18. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
Depending on the system and risk, safeguards may include:
- encryption in transit;
- encryption at rest where appropriate;
- access controls;
- least-privilege principles;
- authentication and authorization controls;
- secure credential storage;
- signed or verified entitlements;
- application signing;
- update integrity protections;
- logging and monitoring;
- vulnerability management;
- incident response;
- separation of production secrets from client applications;
- data minimization;
- secure development and review practices.
No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are also responsible for maintaining the security of your devices, operating-system accounts, passwords, recovery methods, and other credentials.
If you believe you have discovered a security vulnerability in Syntic Care or another Syntic service, please use our Responsible Disclosure process.
19. Data Breach and Incident Response
We maintain processes intended to identify, investigate, contain, and remediate security incidents.
Where an incident creates notification obligations under applicable law, we will notify affected individuals, regulators, or other parties as required by applicable law.
The timing and content of notifications may depend on the jurisdiction, nature of the incident, risk to affected individuals, law-enforcement considerations, and information available during the investigation.
20. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Care Services, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet accounting or tax requirements, and comply with law.
Different categories of information may have different retention periods.
Relevant considerations may include:
- whether your account remains active;
- whether information is required to provide an active subscription or entitlement;
- the sensitivity of the information;
- security and fraud-prevention needs;
- legal limitation periods;
- tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements;
- whether information can be safely aggregated or de-identified.
When personal information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with applicable requirements and our retention practices.
Backups may retain information for a limited additional period before normal rotation or deletion.
21. Account Deletion
Where available, you may request deletion of your Syntic account or personal information.
Deletion may not cause every record to disappear immediately. We may retain limited information where required or permitted for:
- legal compliance;
- financial and tax records;
- fraud prevention;
- security;
- dispute resolution;
- enforcement of agreements;
- demonstrating compliance;
- preventing abuse of one-time promotions;
- other legitimate purposes permitted by law.
Where an account is deleted, suspended, or otherwise made inactive, authentication sessions and refresh credentials should be revoked or restricted according to Syntic's security controls.
Information stored only on your own device may need to be removed through the application, operating system, or device itself.
22. International Data Transfers
Syntic operates internationally and may use service providers located in multiple countries.
As a result, personal information may be processed in countries other than the country in which you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws.
Where required, Syntic will use legally recognized transfer mechanisms and safeguards for international transfers of personal information, which may include adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, contractual safeguards, or other mechanisms recognized by applicable law.
The specific locations and transfer mechanisms should reflect Syntic's actual infrastructure and service-provider arrangements.
23. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information.
These may include the right to:
- request access to personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- request deletion;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to certain processing;
- receive certain information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;
- opt out of certain marketing;
- opt out of certain sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activities where applicable;
- appeal certain privacy-request decisions where applicable;
- lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.
These rights are not absolute and may be subject to exceptions under applicable law.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will use information provided for verification only as permitted for the request, security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
Where applicable, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf, subject to legally permitted verification requirements.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
24. EEA and United Kingdom Rights
If the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar law applies, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent.
You may also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority in the country where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may have the right to object to processing based on circumstances particular to you. Where personal information is processed for direct marketing, you may object to that processing as provided by law.
25. United States State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws.
Depending on the jurisdiction and applicability of the law, those rights may include:
- knowing or accessing categories or specific pieces of personal information;
- correcting inaccurate information;
- deleting information;
- obtaining portable information;
- opting out of sale or sharing;
- opting out of targeted advertising;
- limiting certain uses of sensitive personal information;
- appealing a denied request.
Whether a particular statutory right applies depends on the law, Syntic's role, applicable thresholds, exemptions, and the processing activity involved.
If Syntic engages in an activity that legally constitutes sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, we will provide any required opt-out mechanism.
26. Sensitive Personal Information
Syntic Care is not designed to infer sensitive personal characteristics from files merely because those files exist on a device.
Because a general-purpose device may contain highly sensitive material, local scanning may technically encounter file names, paths, metadata, or content associated with sensitive subjects.
We seek to minimize transmission of such information and to avoid collecting sensitive content where it is not necessary to provide a requested feature.
If a specific feature requires processing legally defined sensitive personal information, additional disclosures or controls may apply.
27. Biometrics, Health, Financial, and Other Sensitive Device Content
Syntic Care is not intended to turn ordinary device-maintenance scanning into profiling of your health, biometric identity, financial condition, political views, religion, sexual orientation, or other sensitive characteristics.
The fact that a device contains files relating to such subjects does not mean Syntic seeks to classify you according to those subjects.
A future feature specifically designed for a regulated or sensitive category may be governed by additional terms and disclosures.
28. Children's Privacy
The Care Services are not directed to children below the minimum age at which they may independently consent to the processing of their personal information under applicable law.
We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us in circumstances that violate applicable law, contact us so that we can review the matter and take appropriate action.
Age requirements may differ by country and by Syntic service.
29. Enterprise, Business, School, or Managed Accounts
If Syntic Care is provided through an employer, business, school, organization, managed device, or enterprise account, that organization may control aspects of your access or use.
The organization may be a controller of information associated with its managed environment, and separate agreements may govern Syntic's processing on its behalf.
Administrators may have access to account, device, entitlement, policy, security, or usage information depending on the product configuration.
Where enterprise functionality becomes available, applicable enterprise documentation should describe administrator controls and organizational data processing.
30. Third-Party Services and Links
The Care Services may link to or interoperate with third-party websites, applications, platforms, or services.
This Privacy Policy does not govern a third party's independent processing.
Before connecting a third-party service, consider the permissions requested and the third party's privacy practices.
A link from Syntic Care does not necessarily mean Syntic controls or endorses the third party's privacy practices.
31. App Stores and Distribution Platforms
If you obtain Syntic Care through an app store, marketplace, device manufacturer, or software distribution platform, that provider may independently process information relating to downloads, purchases, updates, devices, or account activity.
Its own privacy policy governs its independent processing.
32. Marketing Communications
Where permitted, we may send information about Syntic products, features, events, offers, or services.
Where consent is required, we will seek it.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in the message or other available preference controls.
Even if you opt out of marketing, we may continue to send non-marketing communications necessary for your account or services, such as security notices, authentication messages, transaction confirmations, legal notices, and important service information.
33. Automated Decision-Making
Syntic Care may use automated systems to provide technical findings, classifications, recommendations, entitlement decisions, fraud-prevention signals, or other product functionality.
Where applicable law provides rights relating to solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, we will provide required information and safeguards.
Ordinary automated device-care recommendations are not intended, merely by being automated, to constitute decisions about employment, credit, housing, insurance, legal rights, or similarly significant matters.
34. De-Identified and Aggregated Information
We may create aggregated or de-identified information that is not reasonably capable of being associated with an identifiable individual.
We may use such information for purposes including:
- measuring product reliability;
- understanding feature usage;
- capacity planning;
- security research;
- product development;
- business analysis.
Where applicable law imposes requirements on de-identified information, we will handle it consistently with those requirements.
35. Research and Product Improvement
We may use lawfully collected information to understand reliability, improve user experience, detect bugs, evaluate feature performance, and develop the Care Services.
This does not mean that files discovered during ordinary local scanning are automatically uploaded or used as model-training data.
Where a research or improvement program requires information beyond ordinary service operation, we may provide additional notice or choice where appropriate or legally required.
36. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Signals
Browser-based "Do Not Track" signals are not governed by a single universally accepted technical standard.
Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid opt-out preference signal, such as a supported Global Privacy Control signal, Syntic will process that signal as required for the relevant website and jurisdiction.
37. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Syntic Care changes, new platforms or features are introduced, our service providers change, or legal requirements evolve.
When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date.
If a change materially affects your rights or the way we process personal information, we may provide additional notice where required or appropriate, such as through the Care Services, our website, or email.
Your continued use of the Care Services after an updated Policy becomes effective is subject to applicable law and does not override consent requirements where consent is legally required.
38. Contact and Privacy Requests
For questions, privacy requests, or concerns about this Privacy Policy or Syntic's handling of personal information, use Syntic's published privacy contact channel.
